Today consisted of casual reading October documentation and kicking the tires on my localhost environment. I forgot my localhost password and locked myself out which led to reseaching the unlocking process in their forums admin account suspended - how to get back in?.
I learned not only how to purge the database but also how to create a reset account which reminded me the importantance of a strong root password. Once somene gets into your server they own it.
Pages are interesting in that they are stored as flat files much like Gatsby or Hugo. If someone would like to set up a simple microsite of only a few pages there's no need for a database. I can't expresss how fantastic this can be for a developer who needs to spin up a dozen pages that change infrequently if not at all.
I'll need to look into the serverless opportunities at a future date.
